A major cloud data platform delivered blowout Q1 numbers after yesterday's close, sending shares up sharply in pre-market on record revenue and a landmark multi-year infrastructure deal. The AI data center infrastructure theme picked up additional momentum as a former OpenAI researcher's fund disclosed a significant institutional stake in a European AI cloud operator. On the retail side, a large discount chain reported Q1 earnings this morning that beat EPS estimates and raised full-year guidance.
