Wednesday premarket is running on three separate stories: a 168% biotech-style momentum move in CAST on a media deal, an Accenture earnings crater on AI disruption fear, and yesterday's fade names reversing hard this morning.
CAST is up 168.60% and has been the hottest name on the tape all week. FreeCast expanded its distribution relationship with DIRECTV across residential and Platform-as-a-Service channels. The stock went from $0.59 on June 10 to trading in the double digits this week, putting it up over 380% for the month. At 15.60M float with this kind of momentum, the intraday range will be extreme. The fundamental picture here is a going concern with $92,909 in quarterly revenue. This is a pure momentum trade, not a business turnaround.
ACN is down 14.46%. Accenture reported Q3 2026 earnings this morning. The stock is down 36% year-to-date and the thesis has been the same all year: AI firms are eating into traditional consulting revenue. Truist downgraded ACN to Hold in early June, citing AI-driven revenue cannibalization. Options traders had priced in a 7.6% move. The actual move is nearly double that at open.
BYAH is up 32.03% and CRVO is up 26.66%. Both were flagged in this newsletter on June 16 as multi-day fade patterns. BYAH was down 11.56% on June 16 after a 25% run on June 15. CRVO was down 11.73% on June 16. Today both are reversing. This is the full pattern: gap up, fade day two, bounce day three.
